Iraq | Asaib Ahl al-Haq: To fight American forces until they are expelled from Iraq

Secretary General of Asaib Ahl al-Haq Movement Sheikh Qais al-Khazali said there are attempts by foreigners to strike Popular Mobilization Unit (Hashd al-Shabi) forces, stressing that no one can stop the resistance forces from fighting the American forces until they are expelled from Iraq.

"The presence of American forces in Iraq is considered an occupation, especially since the Iraqi parliament has approved the withdrawal of these forces from the country," al-Khazali said.

He added that no resistance groups had targeted government institutions and facilities in Iraq's Green Zone, adding that the attack on the headquarters of the popular mobilization and the arrest of a number of these forces was a major riot and did not have good consequences.
