Iran | Ayatollah Khamenei: Rulers of Some Muslim States are Servants of U.S. and Israel

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei described some Muslim countries' rulers as "servants" of the U.S. and Israeli regimes, stressing that they are acting against Quranic instructions.

Ayatollah Khamenei made his remarks on Monday during a meeting with masters, reciters and memorizers of Quran who participated in the 36th International Holy Quran competitions in Tehran.

He added that many problems facing the Islamic Nation have their roots in the lack of efforts to follow Quranic teachings.

"Many deviations, misunderstandings, feelings of disappointment, betrayals, hostilities, and submissions to false deities, are caused by staying away from the Quran and the spirituality and knowledge gained from it," the Leader said.

Ayatollah Khamenei continued "unfortunately, some heads of Islamic countries do not follow Quranic instructions, and instead of being firm against disbelievers, they are servants and followers of the US and Zionists,"

The Leader further pointed to the hostilities toward the Islamic Republic and said although hostilities seem to be more than before, these acts and conspiracies are "the last breaths" of the enemies.
