Kuwait | Protests in Al-Erada Square Against Corruption and the Country's Situation

Kuwait's Al-Erada Square witnessed a "legal" protest on Wednesday aimed at reforming and rejecting the deterioration of the country's situation and the spreading corruption.

The stand came at the request of former MP of the Kuwaiti parliament, Salah al-Mulla, who confirmed that he obtained approval to organize the stand from the capital and from public security.

Commenting on the stand, Al-Mulla said in a tweet "Today's stand is only a step to change our bitter reality."

Videos of the stand were also circulated showing the protesters' demands for the departure of Parliament Speaker Marzouq al-Ghanim.
