Iran | Iran's Rouhani Urges People to Continue Observing Health Protocols

Iranian President Hasan Rouhani stated that at least until the end of the current Iranian year, all people should observe health protocols, adding that only 61 percent of people observed health protocols.

During the meeting of the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus on Saturday, Rouhani said "Only 61 percent of people observe health protocols, and 39 percent do not, which is dangerous."

Rouhani added "The Qadr nights are precious, but people must also observe the hygienic instructions."

Expressing hope for the continuation of vaccination, the President stated "We will continue our efforts to import foreign vaccines and support homemade vaccines.”

Rouhani added "At least by the end of this year, all people should observe health protocols, that is if someone is vaccinated, it does not mean he/she is safe. This is the first dose and the second dose should be injected too."

Also taking the second dose does not mean that the person is completely immune because one must see the reaction of his/her body to the vaccine.
