Thousands of people gathered in four squares in Yemen's Al-Hudaydah governorate marking Al-Quds International Day.
Participants in the marches waved the flags of Palestine, stressing their solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
They condemned Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people, calling on the people of the nation to take a firm stand to stop the aggression and support the Palestinian resistance with the necessary capabilities.
Al-Quds International Day is an annual event opposing Israel's occupation of Beitul-Muqaddas. Anti-Zionist rallies and demonstrations are held on the last Friday of Ramadan in Muslim and Arab countries around the world and in a number of non-Muslim states.
The occassion was marked by the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, in 1979 as a way of expressing solidarity with the Palestinians and underscoring the importance of the holy Quds to Muslims.
