Iraq's President Barham Salih met British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab and discussed ways to strengthen Iraqi-British ties.
The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding, stressing the solid bilateral cooperation between the two States.
Salih called for collective efforts to establish regional security and stability and to mitigate tensions in the region.
He urged to enhance economic, trade, health and environmental interdependence that serve the interest of all the nations.
Raab, in turn, reiterated his country's commitment to supporting Iraq's security and stability.
He hilighted the UK’s eagerness to further develop cultural and economic ties with Iraq, stressing that there is an earnest desire to support investment and promote development opportunities in Iraq.
