Turkey | Erdogan Calls on US Troops to Leave the Syrian Manbij

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the United States is working against the interests of Turkey, Iran and perhaps Russia in Syria, where they are sending military supplies to an area controlled by Kurdish-dominated forces.

"If the United States says it is sending 5,000 trucks and 2,000 cargo planes carrying weapons for a good fight, we do not believe that," Erdogan told lawmakers from his Justice and Development Party (AKP) on Tuesday.

He added that this means that US have accounts against Turkey, Iran and possibly Russia, reiterating his call for the withdrawal of US forces from the city of Manbij in Syria.
